With approximately 48,000 employees working at more than 100 production sites and in seven research & development centers, we, the world‘s leading development partner in the automotive and engine industry, have unique system expertise in the area of internal combustion engines and engine peripherals. And we have been very successful at it! Thanks to our business units Engine Systems and Components, we are among the world’s top three system providers of piston systems, cylinder components, valve-train, air-management and liquid-management systems. Our customers include nearly all automobile and engine makers around the world.

For nearly 90 years now, MAHLE has been a driving force in the development of vehicle and engine technology. In the process, it has set standards time and time again. And we have major plans for the future – particularly in the business unit MAHLE Industry. In this unit, we bundle our industry activities in the areas of large engines, industrial filtration, as well as cooling and air-conditioning systems for railroad and special vehicles, buses, ship construction and agricultural machinery, the aviation industry and stationary large engines for energy production.
