Whether in a technical section or a commercial area: we systematically prepare you for your future responsibilities in your focus area – including how to think outside the box. You can show us what you’re made of and showcase your talent in challenging projects. And take a pit stop at various stations in Austria and beyond.

The exact content of the program is planned individually. This way you have the opportunity to work on projects that will help you grow professionally. And contribute to MAHLE’s success. Of course, you can contribute your own ideas about the direction you would like to take.

We support you on your road to success. In regular meetings with your mentors, you will discuss your new experiences, future program content and your development goals with your mentor and professional-development coordinators. The support you need to help you get ahead is guaranteed.

The International Graduate Program – the specs:

You can start working at MAHLE as a graduate or as a direct hire. In both cases, we offer several interesting fields of work.

All positions that require profound specialized knowledge are generally filled with direct hires. If you choose the route of direct entry, you will start working as a specialist in your respective area.

Graduates are trained in many different areas at MAHLE. The training focuses on project work in different functional areas – and placement abroad, of course – as well as the creation of an individual group-wide network. Through this training, you are systematically prepared to assume a position of responsibility later on.

The program lasts between 15 months and 18 months.

Yes, a central element of our International Graduate Program is a 3-month- to 6-month stay abroad.

As a graduate of the International Graduate Program, you’ll receive a permanent position with above-average pay.

To take part in our International Graduate Program, you should have above-average grades and successfully obtained a degree in one of the desired fields from a university or a university of applied sciences.

Because intercultural experience is a central selection criterion, we only accept applications from graduates who have studied or worked abroad.

At the Assessment Center, you must prove your skills in individual and group exercises conducted in German and in English as well as in tests.

The future begins now – in research & development. At eight R&D centers located around the world, we work on innovative solutions for our customers. The focal points of our work are:

Research and advanced development, our creative think tanks, that are always a step ahead of future trends. This is where we monitor the future development for the entire MAHLE Group. We test the technical feasibility of new technologies, products and process. This work also encompasses strategic development projects that we have been unable to clearly assign to a particular business unit. To take on these challenges, we are recruiting creative, future-focused and flexible engineers with a broad range of knowledge and a very good understanding of physics.

Our core businesses involve advanced product/process development as well as product development. Most of our development employees work in this area. In advanced product/process development as innovative developers of prototypes for the product generation after next. In this area, we plan and develop product and process concepts of prototypes and mature parts and components that will shape our future success. Here, too, we are seeking engineers who can draw on their creativity and expert knowledge to fuel innovation. Pragmatic experts for customer solutions in serial production work in product development. Here, we develop and hone products and processes until they reach series maturity and can be directly used. In this work, we rely on engineers characterized by expert knowledge, customer focus and determination.

From the idea to series-production readiness and beyond – technical sales supports the entire development process and product life cycle. Internally and externally. As the interface between the individual business units, plants and regions as well as the contact partner for our local customers.

Global success. Local presence. Through our key-account managers and regional teams of experts, we provide individual support to our major customers. Our broad range of activities requires exceptional technical knowledge and the ability to explain complicated information to our customers. For this reason, we are recruiting engineers, industrial engineers and business majors who can deal well with people, have the necessary technical background and can keep their eye firmly fixed on carrying out our business instructions. We also want to recruit sales representatives who can advance processes and ensure that our customers reach their goals.

Over 140 production plants. Four continents. One standard. Our efficient, state-of-the-art production processes around the world facilitate ergonomic series production on the highest level. In Germany alone, our employees work in 28 production plants to make innovative products for our Business Units and for various Profit Centers, including Small Engine Components, Motorsports, Sintered Components and Engineering Services.

Every production area includes an autonomous team. This team consists of workers, skilled technicians, specialists and support staff in such areas as preparatory work, quality assurance prototype manufacturing and logistics. Our products are manufactured with cutting-edge manufacturing equipment designed specifically to meet production needs. Of course, we do this while meeting the highest quality standards. This is a job for motivated, technically interested people who are looking for a variety-filled position.

Always on equal terms – the employees in controlling at MAHLE are equal partners who help operational executives make their decisions. Beginning with a plant controller and extending to country and regional controllers, every company and business unit has its own controller. Expertise on every level. The potential assignments in controlling are nearly unlimited. Controllers who have proven themselves can also receive positions in another country. A transfer from controlling to accounting is also possible. And will be supported by MAHLE.

An optimal product line. As the world market leader, we develop, coordinate and carry out the best global product-group strategies. In Europe, we actively procure production materials for our various business units. In the process, we facilitate a smooth supply of these materials to production. At the same time, we ensure the availability of non-production goods through indirect procurement – in such areas as energy, services, chemicals and capital goods.

The production-material units are broken down into series procurement and project procurement. Here, the procurement work focuses on both raw materials (granulate, coal, etc.) metal/row-metal components (die-cast parts, metal components, steel, stamped parts, etc.) as well as non-metal components (assemblies, plastic parts, project procurement, etc.).

In purchasing at MAHLE, we foresee exciting jobs in an international setting. Of course, this work will be performed using the latest procurement tools, including e-catalogue management and online auctions.

The right object at the right time. In logistics, we cover the entire value chain. From the customer to the supplier, from the request for quotation to the bid. We develop individual logistics concepts and support projects from the selection of the production location to the launch of series production. At any site in the world.

We help our plants with major logistics projects in the areas of factory and layout planning, material flow and warehouse planning as well as supply and waste-disposal systems. And ensure their introduction by providing efficient project management and controlling. In such areas as strategic planning, supply chain management or production and warehouse logistics, these challenges offer much freedom as well as much responsibility for individual employees.

We have a logistics network that has enormous know-how and years of experience. Our employees carry out responsibility-filled projects in the broadest variety of locations around the world.
