    Aline Faria

    Head of Purchasing

    Administration

    at MAHLE since 2002.

“I began at MAHLE at the age of 16, as an apprentice, already in Purchasing, and I had the opportunity for an intern opening with the same team in Mogi Guaçu. That is when I began to study Business Administration with a major in Foreign Trade and I was hired after one year. With the acquisition of various companies, I participated in the introduction of purchasing processes at these new units too. Today, I am 26 and I am purchasing supervisor at Mogi Guaçu and also in Jundiaí and I have a very dynamic routine.

MAHLE is a multinational company and market leader in motor components. It is growing continuously in filters as well. That’s why it is company at which everyone wants to work. I began my professional career with the objective of working at MAHLE and I succeeded. I always have challenging opportunities and management is continuously stimulated this in the employees. My ten years here can be summarized into perseverance and planning."

    Jundiaí

    at MAHLE since 1987.

“I am a Mechanical Engineer and I began my career at other companies in the same segment as MAHLE. In 1987, I was invited to work at the Metal Leve Research Center, when the company also gave me the opportunity to get my Masters. In 1992, I went to the United States to work at the Ann Arbor Technological Center, taking technologies developed in Brazil with me. In 1996, MAHLE bought Metal Leve and, the next year, COFAP, deciding to unify the two Technological Centers of these companies. With its growth and other acquisitions, the Jundiaí Technological Center was inaugurated in 2008, which is where I have worked ever since.

MAHLE is a company that has always permitted the development of people in terms of training opportunities, empowerment opportunities and, it is a company that gives the conditions to elaborate challenging and innovative projects and it has also strived for investments in technology."

    Erik Alves

    Engineering Supervisor

    São Bernardo do Campo

    at MAHLE since 1994.

“I am currently responsible for Process Engineering and Tool Development. I have been at MAHLE during two periods. The first was in 1994, in Santo Amaro, in the Pistons area. I took a technical internship for one year and then I left to go to college full-time. In 1996, I returned to the company as a technology intern, this time in São Bernardo. From then on, I had the chance to graduate in Engineering and finish graduate program. I have been at the company a total of 15 years.

I have always greatly enjoyed working at MAHLE. Everything I do, I do with much love and care. I have always believed that knowledge is one of the keys to success. Regardless of position, status or salary, knowledge enables us to solve problems, understand people, face challenges and make it our motivation for everyday activities. When we do what we like and strive to make things happen, the result comes naturally. That is what I carry with me and it is what I carry for my career.

No doubt, all the knowledge acquired and the work done over these years has been providing results and that is my motivation for improving more and more and for moving forward.”

“My professional experience is basically tied to MAHLE. I started as an intern in 1999, in research and development. In 2006, I became a world specialist in rings and pistons and, recently, I made the transition to Innovation Management. I have a Masters in Mechanical Engineering.

Most especially, one thing I greatly relate to MAHLE is the freedom to learn. I have always received every incentive at the company to continuously recycle myself, taking my Masters, a graduate studies course and now a PhD. I also had the chance to live for some time in Germany, when I grew a lot when in contact with a very different culture.”

In 2003, I went to Santo Amaro, the old piston unit and I stayed there until 2008, when we finished the process of moving the structure to Jundiaí, which today is the Tech Center. In 2008, I returned to the Bearings unit in São Bernardo."

My love affair with MAHLE now lasts 19 years. I stay here because I admire the company: for its strong brand on the market; its products with much technology and quality; the great opportunities and experiences it has offered me over all these years and, most especially, because it helped me grow personally and professionally. I work at a successful company that is world-renowned in its segment.

I also believe that my work and role in Human Resources have been contributing towards a better world with more ethics, education, health, are in our relations and valorization of the human. I have great satisfaction and pride to work at MAHLE.”

    Mogi Guaçu

    at MAHLE since 2000.

“I have been at MAHLE for 12 years. I began as an intern, when I was still studying the first year of Business Administration in college. I have worked in Corporate Controlling since the beginning, when it was still getting started at the company.

Over the years, the area evolved and I accompanied this growth. One day, my Manager, who was German, challenged me to work in Germany. I worked there for two years and a half and I gained much experience and took advantage of the unique chance to work in another country. I returned to Brazil in May 2011, as Controlling Supervisor. A short time later, I was promoted to head.

MAHLE was my first job and I can affirm I have had many opportunities here. At our department, we are free to work the best way possible. That makes us grow, learn different things and conquer our space.”

When I returned to Brazil, I held the position of export analyst and, recently, I assumed the position of Marketing Supervisor.

The international experiences have been excellent. For example, I was able to learn other languages more easily and to have contact with different people from different areas. My path has been full of achievements at MAHLE. If I am where I am, it is because the company has given me the opportunities."

MAHLE gave me the opportunity to study, to learn new technologies and to travel. I went to Germany, Austria and the United States for the company. I participated in training in those countries and I also helped install new machines.

I am 51 and I have been at the company for 32 years. From assistant to head of production, I have also been very devoted to the company. I helped to start the manufacturing of filters 10 years ago and today the flex model represents 90% of the market.

    Rodrigo Luiz de Gouvea

    Sales Application Engineer

    Jundiaí

    at MAHLE since 2000.

“I graduated in mechanical engineering. I started at MAHLE in the beginning of 2000 in a trainee program. It started with ten months of training in Brazil and then going through every manufacturing unit. Then, I began in the Research department. Seven years later, I had the chance to work at the MAHLE headquarters in Germany, and I stayed there for five years. In June 2011, I returned to Brazil, to the Jundiaí unit, celebrating my 12th anniversary at the company.

One of MAHLE’s positive points is the chance for interaction with other world units, other cultures and other languages. In terms of career development, MAHLE offers this for those who seek it. It is very big professional and personal baggage; a very positive experience.”

    João Vitor Zanesco

Plant Manager and Global Technical Coordinator for Piston Rings

    Itajubá

    at MAHLE since 1984.

“I began my career at MAHLE in Manufacturing Engineering for rings. I then went to Processes and Production Technology, when I was transferred to the Itajubá unit, to support its expansion. In 2001, I assumed operations and from then on we have faced various challenges. In 2010, I accumulated a new function, global technical coordinator for piston rings, and today, I exercise the two activities.

I have every opportunity for professional, and in many aspects personal, fulfillment right here. MAHLE has a development program comparable to any same-size company. Opportunities are offered for us to work in an enterprising manner, with freedom to present solutions and a robust investment policy that provides for diversified growth while also ensuring business longevity. MAHLE also has a very effective social responsibility policy, providing all of us important opportunities for our work in social projects in different areas."

    at MAHLE since 1994.

    Adalto Bispo

    Head of Tax Planning

    Mogi Guaçu

    at MAHLE since 1994.

“I graduated in Accounting Sciences and began my career at Metal Leve in Santo Amaro 18 years ago. In 1998, I was transferred to the Mogi Guaçu unit and I took a Business Management graduate studies course in-house. MAHLE has grown since then. It purchased other companies in different states and countries and I worked at some of them for a period.

I see my work at Mahle as a constant renewal. Like many others, the fiscal area is absorbing new technologies and learning them renews our knowledge.

Professionally, my career has been very dynamic, which satisfies any professional. These responsibilities are very well-known. Personally, it was a challenge. I grew a lot and learned to deal with diversity working in different places.”
