Product Testing Engineering Intern (9 mths)

(Must be able to start 1st Jan'18 or before)

  • To assist the Product Testing team in test equipment upgrades through research, design, documentation, and actual implementation of a new standard set of equipment.
  • Duties
  • Model New components and fit to existing CAD models
  • Request quotes and place orders for new parts
  • Build and test prototype circuits to ensure proper design
  • Assemble cable harnesses and hydraulic circuits
  • Assist with product builds and documentation
  • Support multiple test equipment platforms
  • Within the positions scope, contribute to the completion of departmental objectives (technical, financial, quality)
  • Maintain awareness of and meet the requirements of the Company Quality system.
  • Required to observe all safety rules and regulations, must act safely and be responsible for the safety of others around the work area
  • To perform any other duties reasonably required to achieve departmental and/or Company objectives
  • Qualifications
  • Working towards BSC in a technical or engineering field.
  • Skills and Experience
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Work independently and take ownership and accountability of assignments
  • Be able to model parts in a 3D CAD program without assistance
  • Independent problem solving ability
  • Must be able to perform basic job duties with minimum supervision
  • Great attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical team members.

  • Familiar with reading electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Good working use of Microsoft systems
