“MAHLE is truly a global company and is positioning itself to be the leader in engine parts and filtration for the Automotive Aftermarket. With its numerous manufacturing facilities worldwide combined with additional capacity obtained through acquisitions and joint ventures, MAHLE's forward thinking is bringing strategic sourcing options to the Aftermarket. While the main focus of many of the additions may be to exercise growth in the OE market, the Aftermarket is also benefiting from the relationships. The additions to the MAHLE family are supporting the Aftermarket to offer quality products at competitive pricing to customers throughout the world.

Our facility has been the recipient of additional new packaging operations over the last several years. As Manager of Operations, I can clearly state that MAHLE has been extremely supportive of our efforts and has insisted that we had the proper resources available for success. In addition, MAHLE has a culture of continuous improvement which has provided me with an opportunity to travel and collaborate with similar MAHLE operations. It is routine to be working on projects with people from around the world. I have benefitted from clear communication from my leadership team which allows me to make informed decisions, a characteristic that I try to emulate with my direct reporting staff. MAHLE has also supported my career along the way by providing challenging opportunities and growth associated with their successful completion.”

“Originally hired as an SAP Basis programmer, my infrastructure skills were soon discovered when on my first day, while the Novell Administrator at that time happened to be on vacation, there was a problem with one of the Novell servers. It just so happened that I had a very strong background in Novell and was able to resolve the issue (and many others that day), very quickly. Needless to say, my time as an SAP Basis programmer was short lived. Moving into Infrastructure, I was responsible for many tasks including bringing many services that were outsourced back in house, yielding over $300K annual savings. I wore many hats on a daily basis and became an expert in many areas. Today, I am the Manager for IT Infrastructure for MAHLE Industries, Inc.

My staff consists of very hard workers who are team oriented and very supportive of myself and their peers. I firmly believe a good Manager is only as good as those that work for him/her. My number one rule is simple, to provide excellent customer service! To hear a complement about one of my team members in praise for a good job performed is music to my ears.

MAHLE has been very supportive of my career and is proof that when you give a company 110% and put their needs before your own, they will certainly return the favor. It is good to be MAHLE blue.”

“My career at MAHLE exposed me to a new commodity… metals. A Purchasing background in fabrics and plastics meant that I had to learn an entire new industry. The team environment and constant interaction with Engineering and Manufacturing provided opportunity to quickly become a specialist in my new field.

MAHLE has been very supportive of continuing education to foster my career development. This has included industry seminars, University-accredited classes and internal programs. Knowing that my team members and supervisors support these activities has motivated me to take on even greater challenges.

As an avid runner, participating in company-sponsored events with my co-workers enabled us to bond outside the conference room. Planning, perseverance and execution are keys of successful racing, as well as work projects. MAHLE will give you the chance to show that you are a finisher.”

“I came to MAHLE with years of experience focusing in one product line. What I found here was many different product lines and functions in one place – and an open environment that promoted interaction among them. Pistons, connecting rods, camshafts, simulations, testing, and more – all available to explore. This was a new dimension that broadened my horizons, and I found professional interests in new areas. Today I am managing a department of Product Experts – each one specializing in a single component, but as a group we focus on their working together as a whole.”

“When I first joined MAHLE, I became immediately immersed in the “Globalization of MAHLE” as the company had recently announced a new global sales and product line organization. Moving from regional and product based sales organizations to one global sales team representing all products in all regions of the world was an enviable task. Although I had done business internationally in past roles, the personal development associated with my new role at MAHLE was and remains incredibly valuable and satisfying.

Some important early tasks of mine involved developing a sales team that could work seamlessly across the globe, building a network of collaborative relationships with customers and colleagues in Europe, Asia and South America and implementation of sales processes to support our internal and external customers. These relationships have not only benefited me professionally, but many of these people are now my friends as well, who I know I can count on.

Today, we have a solid foundation to work from and will make adjustments and improvements to our organization as need dictates. Our customers recognize MAHLE as a global partner with the ability to support their needs wherever they are. Along with my sales team members and the support we have around the world we have accomplished a lot. With MAHLE’s vision and focus to the future I am convinced the best is yet to come and I look forward to being a part of this.”

"I began my career with MAHLE Powertrain in 2008 during a very trying global economic time. Since this time, MAHLE has been a dynamic organization that has helped me expand my career not only professionally, but also personally.

From a career standpoint, MAHLE has cultivated and promoted a positive professional atmosphere, while striving to meet each employee's needs for a work/life balance.

MAHLE Powertrain is a very diverse organization that has challenged me in many different ways. As such, their encouragement for "outside the box" thinking and high regard for each employee's thoughts make this an organization that I am proud to be a part of . “I began my employment with MAHLE through the acquisition of Cosworth Technology in 2005. At that time there was a lot of uncertainty on what the future would hold. It took time & effort to learn & adapt to the MAHLE environment, but was well worth it. MAHLE has proven to offer great stability & opportunity for my career.

My role in MAHLE has continued to expand. Originally I was part of the controlling team for MAHLE Powertrain. Over the years our controlling responsibilities expanded to include all Services & Group Controlling here in North America. Since 2010 I have had the opportunity to serve as controller over these organizations.

Through MAHLE I have gained a lot of valuable experience & met many new friends & colleagues. MAHLE has supported me fully in my career growth & training. I believe MAHLE places a lot of value on developing its employees & offers many opportunities for those who are willing to work hard & pursue them.”

“When I made my decision to join MAHLE, one of the main reasons was the fact that MAHLE is a global company and promotes international transfers. After less than 2 years at MAHLE, I was given the opportunity to take an assignment in Murfreesboro, TN. Since then, I worked in various locations and positions within the North American organization.

The growth that MAHLE achieved in North America over the past years has been tremendous and with this has provided me with increasing challenges and responsibilities. During this period, my superiors mentored me in my professional growth and provided valuable feedback. The promise that was made to me on my hiring date – “you will never be bored” was definitely kept.

Looking forward, MAHLE continues to dynamically grow in North America, organically and through acquisitions. As a result, added complexity and integration of different corporate cultures will bring on even greater demands and opportunities. MAHLE’s approach to entrust each individual within the organization motivates me to thrive in these challenges. “

My career with MAHLE started as a Continuous Improvement Engineer where my accomplishments were acknowledged with a promotion to the position of Engineering Manager before being offered my current position of Production Manager. As the Production Manager I have the opportunity to develop my skills by working with different groups and aspects of the operations such as: Human Resources, Logistics, Maintenance, Quality, Accounting and Production Personnel.

I have also been privileged enough to be part of the MAHLE Management Development Program to prepare me for future duties and responsibilities. MAHLE has also given me the opportunity to volunteer in the community by being the plant leader for the local United Way campaign.

I am proud to be part of the MAHLE Murfreesboro team due to the fact it is a very dynamic, engaging and challenging environment. I look forward to a long and successful career with MAHLE.”

“MAHLE has two major strengths that set it apart from other international companies I am familiar with:

MAHLE uses a long term perspective when developing and implementing business plans and strategies. This ensures MAHLE is well positioned to supply new technology to Automotive O.E.M and Aftermarket customers for many years to come.

MAHLE is truly a “Global” company which supports an internationally collaborative working environment. Within the Aftermarket we have close working relationships with our colleagues in each region of the world. Within my first 18 months with the company I had opportunities to visit Aftermarket colleagues in Asia, Europe, South America and North America.

Likewise, my team attempts to apply a long term global perspective when defining supply chain strategies for the North American Aftermarket. MAHLE’s technology and global manufacturing footprint allow us to provide innovative solutions to our North American Automotive Aftermarket customers.

MAHLE recognizes that long term growth is dependent on continued development of new talent. Employees have access to a variety of career development programs which provide valuable training and most importantly, opportunities to network with other MAHLE colleagues.”
