MAHLE in Ostrów Wielkopolski has been part of the MAHLE Group since July 2015, hiring about 3000 employees. It’s specialization covers advanced cooling modules and components both for combustion engines, hybrid and purely electric cars. We deliver directly to assembly lines of main producers worldwide.
On top of production we have nearly 400 employees working within Research and Development Centre and cover whole manufacturing process beginning from design, through prototyping and testing, to final product. Beginning from 2017 we also support European MAHLE facilities in area of logistics.
Ostrów Wielkopolski is a dynamically developing city (over 70,000 inhabitants) with a rich, multicultural history, focused on increasing the comfort of life of its residents. The historic downtown with restaurants, bars and outdoor cafes is easily accessible on foot, by bicycles (many bike rental stations) or by developed public transport (a growing fleet of electric buses). Urban green areas with a large central park, recreational areas and a sandy beach at the reservoir provide rest and are used for sports. The city has a modern, summer aqua park, a winter skating arena, several indoor swimming pools and many fitness centers. Many cultural events take place here - music, theater and film, some with a nationwide reputation, including festivals of Chopin's music, Jazz, Blues or Regee and the Krzysztof Komeda's film festival. The potential of the city is perceived by investors locating their businesses and developers in the area who provide new housing infrastructure.
