Product Engineer

  • Design, validate and release heat exchanger products that meet customer requirements.
  • Utilize math modeling tools to design heat exchangers.
  • Coordinate test and/or development programs for heat exchangers.
  • Interface with customer. Translate customer requirements into products. Resolve customer issues.
  • Oversee sample build, test and delivery
  • Review and approve drawings for heat exchanger products.
  • Review heat exchanger designs with Manufacturing to confirm manufacturability.
  • Perform continuous improvement activities including cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
  • 5 of more years of experience in product design and development desired.
  • Knowledge of engineering process, procedures and analytical skills required.
  • Math modeling and computer simulation of heat exchangers and thermal systems preffered.
  • Knowledge and ability to reach and understand engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Knowledge of thermal fluid systems and components required. Knowledge of HVAC systems and components preferred.
  • Knowledge in and experience with aluminum alloys and their properties and applications desired.
  • Computer skills in office utilities required.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently required.
  • Experience in brazed aluminum heat exchangers desired.
