Account Manager - Commercial Sales

  • Serve as the main customer contact and drive overall commercial account management, including new business acquisition and maintenance of accounts.
  • Participate in MAHLE electrification projects to support the rapid growth in e-mobility markets.
  • Timely quotation of new business by internally driving the quote process.
  • Prepare pricing proposals, review them with customers and address any concerns.
  • Plan, prepare and conduct customer presentations, coordinate customer visits to the plant and attend and lead commercial customer meetings.
  • Develop a customer strategy that identifies new opportunities, positions our company to win new business, and exercise leadership in the execution of the strategy.
  • Interfacing with various individuals and functions at our customer’s locations and within the MAHLE organization.
  • Becoming familiar with MAHLE’s newly developed technologies and practices in order to be able to best support our customer(s) in their development programs.
  • Collecting customer feedback and keeping management informed of all important issues concerning the assigned account(s).
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business required.
  • 3-5 years minimum of related Automotive industry experience.
  • Commercial account management preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the areas of Mechatronics, Rotating Electronics, Electric Motors, Electric Starters or Alternators.
  • Possess strong analytical and decision making skills.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • Periodic international or domestic travel with overnight stay is required
