3rd shift (10pm to 6am)

  • Start-up, monitor, operate, maintain, and shut-down Paint System.
  • Perform manual spraying using electrostatic gun to support production needs.
  • Perform PMs and daily quality tests.
  • Handle hazardous material and waste during change-over and act as a member of spill response team.
  • Perform routine set-up, maintenance, and cleaning of spray gun.
  • Take an active part in problem solving, debugging and improving of paint system.
  • Paint parts on a moving conveyor using an electrostatic gun.
  • Perform PM routine; troubleshoot as required and record data.
  • Perform housekeeping and line maintenance to maintain optimum air flow and overspray protection.
  • Maintain their own spray equipment to include disassembly, cleaning, minor adjustment repairs, and reassembly.
  • Conduct daily quality checks to include thickness test, hardness tests, adhesion tape tests (dry and wet), and solvent rub test. Record results and take corrective action as required.
  • Change over, set-up, and operate machinery in Paint Kitchen area; clean and inspect delivery system for potential faults.
  • Dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.
  • Initiate work orders into the maintenance system.
  • Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all established safety guidelines.
  • Continuously improve work process, changeovers, and workplace/work methods.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime and off-shifts as required.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One year of manufacturing and/or production experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of processes and product in assigned area
  • Proven problem solving ability
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance and ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills.
