CAE Analysis Engineer

  • Use existing tools and develop new analytical and numerical methods and models to resolve product and project problems.
  • Correlate simulation with existing data and/or experimental results.
  • Support validation of the models.
  • Apply engineering practices to reach design solutions.
  • Design numerical as well as physical Design of Experiments “DOE" to compare, combine and/or study the sensitivity and validity of proposed action, product attributes or process setup.
  • Convert numerical data to meaningful computer graphics and present effectively to the management and leadership team.
  • Partner closely with other simulation scientist/engineers across the organization.
  • Communicate results both orally and in written form in clear precise English.
  • Protect MAHLE’s intellectual property by filing invention disclosures for patent application in timely fashion.
  • Document all project findings in internal, structured reports

  • Bachelor's Degree in Applied Physics, Applied Math, Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineering or Material Science Engineering - Required
  • 5+ years of experience developing Precision products - Required
  • Strong knowledge in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) - Required
  • Mechanism Analysis and Dynamics experience is a plus
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics analysis is a plus
  • ANSYS Workbench experience is a plus
  • Siemens NX experience is a plus
  • Automotive/Residential/Commercial HVAC development is experience - Preferred
  • Experience in Gamma Technologies GT Suite or Siemens Simcenter - Preferred
