Program Management Intern

  • To work closely with customers and suppliers, in addition to Internal teams, in design, development, calibration, build and test activities.
  • Participates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions as needed to learn processes and developments in the manufacturing of MAHLE products.
  • Support management to deliver projects on time, within budget and with a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Shipping and receiving coordination as required by project and departmental demands.
  • Prepares charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate data such as costs, workflow, etc.
  • Perform the analysis of financial data and generate reporting.
  • Assist in preparing customer and internal reports and presentations.
  • Provide timely and high quality program management assistance to customers, engineers and other personnel in the Powertrain Engineering department.
  • Within the position's scope, contribute to completion of departmental objectives (technical, financial, quality).
  • Maintain awareness of, and meet, the requirements of the Company Quality System.
  • Required to observe safety rules and regulations. Must act safely and be responsible for the safety of others around the work area.
  • Employee duties are not limited to those stated above, but are inclusive to any tasks assigned by the supervisor/manager.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
  • Currently attending college and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a business, technical management or engineering field, with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Ability to work on a team, take ownership and accountability for assignments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other MS Office applications software.
  • Familiar with engine testing principles, processes and technology.
  • Independent problem solving ability.
  • Must be able to perform basic job duties with minimum supervision.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Excellent mechanical engineering and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Great team player.
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common program management and technical documents.

  • Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people.
