Head of Operations Support (Maintenance Manager)

#Works directly with the local HR & Management teams to ensure MAHLE is an Employer of Choice by helping maintain an environment where employees are engaged in our business & know we value them. #Serves as strategic member of the Plant Leadership Team by aligning Operations Support practices with business strategy to ensure organizational targets are met or exceeded. #Directs department personnel in establishing standards and policies for the standardization, selection, installation, modification, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment and tooling. #Establishes and controls operation and capital budgets required to achieve required profit margins. #Reviews and selects new technology required to ensure cost competitiveness in the market place. #Strong understanding and control of safety codes to realize the impact of potential working hazards. #Directs maintenance of the facility and buildings, coordinates the scope and specifications for new equipment and tooling, establishes the leadership for effective maintenance schedules for all equipment and buildings. #Prepares capital and expense budgets for maintenance, tooling, building, and utilities. #Directs maintenance engineers in performing projects that will meet plant goals for productivity, efficiency, new product launch schedules, scrap and safety. #Directs maintenance technicians in development of countermeasures to reduce and control machine stability. #Directs Mold Maintenance and the Machine Shop to achieve high productivity and cost reductions. #Plans departmental goals and subordinates individual performance goals based on reviews and objectives established by the general manager. #Other duties as assigned.

#Bachelor's Degree from in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline from a four-year college or university. #10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. #Proven & effective facilitation, leadership, mentoring, and training skills. #Ability to provide decisive leadership and team facilitation in the face of adversity - define tasks clearly, identify and coordinate resources, and execute a go-forward plan. #Ability to define goals, metrics, and levels of success for internal/external customers. #Proven planning abilities, including successful execution of such plans. #Proven execution of change management within an organization.
