SAP HCM Advanced Expert (m/f/d) Payroll Germany

  • Administrate global SAP HCM-systems with the main focus payroll Germany (PY-DE)
  • Customizing and modification of payroll schemas and rules to ensure correct and compliant payroll for Germany
  • Work with the business users / process owner in Germany to identify their requirements
  • Perform configuration (customizing) work as needed to support new and existing functionality, analyze configuration issues
  • Assist in the technical preparation of business process procedures procedures, test scenarios, end-user documentation and user manuals
  • Prepare functionality specifications, collaborate with developers to develop and test significant new functionality and enhancements
  • Identify SAP solution possibilities and discuss with business users / process owner
  • Assist implementation of legal change packages and end-of-year activities
  • Responsible for writing design specifications and documentation
  • Perform integration testing, work as necessary to insure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality
  • Bachelor's degree in economic computer science or similar - preferred
  • Several years of proven SAP payroll consulting experience
  • Experience in full life-cycle implementations of SAP payroll for Germany from planning to configuration through go-live
  • Experience in creating and defining custom operations and rules
  • Good functional knowledge of the HCM system
  • Strong experience with year-end activities and support packs implementation
  • Experience in ABAP and ABAP-OO development preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent German language skills required as well as good English skills
