Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Globally Accountable for a set of master data - such as Material Master, Business Partner, Manufacturing Change Order (MCO) - their maintenance and governance processes based on SAP-S4HANA and SAP MDG
  • Coordination of change requests and initiatives across regions / BUs
  • Definition of consistent requirements with regards to data design and related data governance processes
  • As part of the rollout and operationalization of MORE building and leading a team of data stewards who are responsible for the day-to-day a set of master data maintenance processes within own area of responsibility
  • Coordination and communication across affected domains, regions and divisions
  • Regular reporting to the Global Data Lead
  • Continuous communication and collaboration with the relevant Global Process Owners and Data Delegates
  • Supporting Data Architects with the goal of developing a solid solution
  • Design, prepare and execute tests & guide data cleansing
  • Prepare various documentations and training material, including related data modelling
  • Establish and monitor data quality standards

Your Skills & Strengths

  • Successfully completed college degree
  • At least 5 years of work experience
  • In-depth experience with SAP ERP and ideally with S/4HANA and MDG
  • Experience with data modelling, definition of data standards, data cleansing, data configuration and data analysis
  • Experience in defining, implementing and maintain master data governance processes and data standards, ideally using SAP MDG
  • SQL and macro programming skills as well as knowledge in SAP Data Services and/or Information Steward are beneficial
  • Understand the benefits of a global master data harmonization as well as data objects with global variants and related processes
  • Experience in guiding and leading a small team of data management experts
  • Understanding of master data governance, data definitions and extensive knowledge of business processes and organizational structures
  • Structured working approach and outstanding commitment
  • Good or very good written and spoken English skills
