Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Establishes, or recommends to management, major corporate finance objectives, and policies for company.
  • Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of assets, equity and liabilities, as well as income / sales, expenses, and earnings (RoS) and return on assets (ROCE) based on past, present, and expected operations.
  • Directs preparation of budgets and forecasts, reviews budget and forecast proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
  • Completes Month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Works closely together with local and central Management Teams.
  • Establishes relationships and cooperation with MAHLE central departments.
  • Assists in product costing and project / program customer quotations; Responsible for establishing and maintaining machine rates and overhead rates for product costing purposes.
  • Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.
  • Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and product lines.
  • Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
  • Advises management on desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.
  • Arranges for audits of company's accounts.

Your Skills & Strengths

  • College degree in Accountancy (CPA desirable) or Finance
  • Three - five+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must have strong SAP skills and Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in an automotive plant as a Financial Analyst or Controller preferred
