Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Product Management of some MSS NA product lines. Includes NPI creation, maintaining feature road maps and maintenance of line activities which will drive MSS NA’s strategic business plan.
  • Accountable for product management activities for all Segments, including OEM, OES and IAM.
  • Responsible for product planning to meet market needs, utilize core strengths and meet targets.
  • Responsible for developing product strategy, including feature road maps and competitor analysis.
  • Responsible for product line portfolios, return on investment, business models, and make-versus-buy evaluations for technology/products.
  • Provide expertise in identifying customer-specific opportunities and driving key brand strategies inclusive of category insights.
  • Shared responsibility for product features, development milestones and prioritization with sales and project management leadership.
  • Maintain close collaboration with MSS Engineering and Sales teams in NA and other regions on tasked projects.
  • Perform maintenance of line for select MAHLE NA product lines to ensure market relevance and new product availability.
  • Ensure compliance with all aftermarket, industry and government standards.
  • Visit customers & suppliers for sales or program development support as needed.

Your Skills & Strengths

  • Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Automotive – Required
  • 3 or more years of Product/Project Management/Technical Sales experience – Required
  • Base knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and workshop equipment – Required
  • Automotive Aftermarket or Automotive Technician Experience
  • Understanding of the customers and distribution channels of the Automotive OE or Aftermarket.
  • Capacity to work in fast-paced environment where ambiguity and continual learning are fundamental components of the business.
  • Ability to challenge status quo and the ability to manage and deliver positive change.
  • OVERTIME - Employees must be able to work additional hours at the end of the shift, additional days during the payroll week, which can and will be in excess of forty (40) hours per payroll week.
  • TRAVEL - Domestic & international travel is required.
