Your Role & Responsibilities
- Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications, direct setup and adjustments of machines.
- Study production schedules and estimate worker requirements for completion of job assignment.
- Interpret company policy to workers and enforce safety requirements.
- Establish or adjust work priorities to meet production schedules.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
- Assist workers in solving work problems.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve goals.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Performs activities of workers supervised.
Your Skills & Strengths
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
