Your Role & Responsibilities

  • SUMMARY: Great opportunity with MAHLE for the motivated candidate looking to make an impact and be responsible for assigned PGs (Product Groups) and ME Cost Centers. Lots of project opportunities and variety of work, a collaborative team that values hard work and insight with growth opportunities for the future.
  • Create and Manage Project Budgets for activities
  • Create and Manage Research and Development Cost Center Budgets
  • Monthly reporting of PG Financial KPIs
  • Monthly reporting of Research and Development ME Variance to Budget and Forecasts
  • Maintain the Rolling Forecast for NA, including Rebilling of 3rd party Sales by project.
  • Actively pursue JV and IC Contracts for any Homeroom Development Support provided.
  • Develops GDCS (Global Development Cost Share) Analysis
  • Maintains Open Issues Tracker
  • Drives alignment with JV/IC through regular meetings
  • Ensures timely recovery of project cost including coordination of intercompany billings for global development programs
  • Actively create Annual R&D ECOPLAN and StrtPlan budgets for the assigned PGs and MEs
  • Collaborates with Program Teams in Financial Analysis and efficient execution of project plans and budget and forecast expectation
  • Provide monthly analysis of Top 10 Program spending including program specific comments for follow up
  • Develop the engineering rate for a given year
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • Assist with DOE (Department of Energy) Project Controlling and Reporting Special Projects (e.g. Phoneix) Controlling

Your Skills & Strengths

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP proficiency
  • Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
  • High level of analytical ability where problems are complex and attention to detail
  • Strong self-starting initiative and innovative attitude
  • Ability to quickly interpret data and communicate outcome
  • Able to work well with other people, both peers as well as upper management
  • FACTON and SAP Business Warehouse knowledge a plus
  • Education – Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience
  • Prior experience with financial analysis, ERP Systems
  • Understanding of corporate and unit policies and procedures
