MAHLE plant in Dolny Kubin is situated in north-western part of Slovakia, in region Lower Orava, about 40 km to the south of Polish state border and approximately 66 km to the east of regional seat Žilina. Dolný Kubín is the metropolis of the Orava region with a population of 20,000. The region offers opportunities for hiking and various kinds of sports as well as cultural and social activities.
It became a part of MAHLE group in 2007, since company has been recording strong develop-ment. The plant is oriented on production and sales of thin-walled engine bearings, thrust bea-rings, flanged bearing. MAHLE in Dolný Kubín employes 400 employees.
