From the idea to series-production readiness and beyond – technical sales supports the entire development process and product life cycle, internally and externally, as the interface between the individual business units, plants and regions, as well as the contact partner for our local customers.

Global success. Local presence. Through our key-account managers and regional teams of experts, we provide individual support to our major customers. Our broad range of activities requires exceptional technical knowledge and the ability to explain complicated information to our customers. For this reason, we are recruiting engineers, industrial engineers and business majors who can deal well with people, have the necessary technical background and can keep their eye firmly fixed on carrying out our business instructions. The employees in controlling at MAHLE help operational executives make their decisions. Beginning with a plant controller and extending to country and regional controllers, every company and business unit has its own controller. Expertise on every level, with know-how and a grasp of technology and operational procedures.

The potential assignments in controlling are nearly unlimited. Controllers who have proven themselves can also receive positions in other countries. Transfers from controlling to accounting is also possible.

An optimal product line. As the world market leader, we develop, coordinate and carry out the best global product-group strategies. In a precisely targeted manner, procurement market, price and value analyses are performed, national and international negotiations conducted and development projects supported – naturally in close cooperation with various planning and manufacturing departments.

In Europe, we actively procure production materials for our various business units. With the support of supplier management, we facilitate the optimal selection of suppliers, refine this system and ensure smooth supply flows to our production facilities. In addition, forward-sourcing activities, conducted in close cooperation with development departments, ensure that skilled suppliers for new and/or improved products are in place. Non-production procurement handles the conditions and supplier performance – from services and office equipment to production facilities. Agreements are reached and negotiations conducted on a global, regional and country level.

In procurement at MAHLE, we foresee exciting jobs in an international setting. Of course, this work will be performed using the latest procurement tools, including e-catalogue management and online auctions.

The right object at the right time. In logistics, we cover the entire value chain from customer to supplier, from request for quotation to bid. We develop individual logistics concepts and support projects from the selection of the production location to the launch of series production, at any site in the world.

We help our plants with major logistics projects in the areas of factory and layout planning, material flow and warehouse planning, as well as supply and waste-disposal systems. We ensure their introduction by providing efficient project management and controlling. In areas such as strategic planning, supply chain management or production and warehouse logistics, these challenges offer much freedom, as well as responsibility, for individual employees.

Our logistics network has enormous know-how and years of experience. Our employees carry out responsibility-filled projects in the broadest variety of locations around the world.
