Here’s how the application process works at MAHLE
The best and fastest way for you to apply for a job in Germany is online - using the MAHLE Success Factor recruiting portal. We have put together the most important steps for you here. You can also track your application’s progress.
There are different ways to apply for jobs advertized at our international locations. Just select the respective country on the world map and learn more about it.
Your Online Application
You will find an “apply” button on each job description which leads you directly to the MAHLE Success Factor recruiting portal. If you're applying to MAHLE online for the first time, register just one time for the Success Factor application wizard. This then leads you step-by-step through your application. For subsequent visits to the MAHLE Success Factor recruiting portal, you only need to log in with your self-selected password and email address.
Documents for your application
Your complete CV is the most important document for us to start the application process. If you have additional documents, such as a cover letter or certificates, that would be great. If needed, you can also send additional documents at a later point in time.
So we need the following for your application:
- Complete CV. You can simply upload this in Success Factor.
Further, depending upon the job, various documents which can also be submitted:
- Work certificates
- Credentials
- Proof of apprenticeships and continuing education
- Enrolment and school certificates
Please note that your files should be in one of the following formats: DOC, DOCX, JPG, JPEG, PDF, PPT, PPTX.
Through the MAHLE Success Factor recruiting portal in a few steps
- In addition to your personal data, we also need your CV for your application to MAHLE If you would like you can also upload additional files, such as letters and credentials. You can also submit these later if need be.
- Our application wizard leads you quickly and easily through your application in a few steps:
- 1) Personal data
- 2) A cover letter
- 3) Uploading your files
- 4) Overview and release
- Are you interested in several positions, rather than just one? No problem! Since you’re already registered in the MAHLE Success Factor recruiting portal, you only need to update your data after clicking on the “apply” button at the next job description.
We recommend that you release the “overview and release” tab so that your profile can be seen in our global candidate pool. Should your profile also fit additional MAHLE positions, we can then easily integrate you in the application process.
The next step in your application
- You have sent your online application to the responsible contact who is named on the job description. We confirm receipt by email.
- Our recruiting team will check your documents and forward these to the right department.
- If the feedback is positive, we will call you. You can discuss your first questions in this telephone call with your contact from our recruiting team.
- We look forward to learning more about you in this personal discussion. You will receive detailed information about the department and the position to be filled. At the same time, you will have the opportunity to learn more about your potential new employer. Above all, you can tell us your expectations for your future job.
- If we're both convinced that we should work together, there’s nothing in the way of signing a contract.
- Depending upon your career level, there might be additional selection processes such as, such an assessment center for graduates who apply for the international graduate program. This information as well as instructions about possible application deadlines can be found on the pages of the respective entry levels.
