The Silao plant belongs to the thermal business unit. At the MAHLE BEHR Silao plant, we build HVAC modules for GM (General Motors). The excellente quality in our products allows customers to trust in us. The production area is divided into two sections: Molding and Assembly. The first one provides the assembly lines with molded plastic parts to construct the HVAC modules. In the assembly lines, the modules that are shipped to customer are built and packed for their installation in their vehicle. We are a total of 170 employees who work focused on Safety, Quality, On time deliveries and cost.
Silao belongs to the state of Guanajuato, being one of the most important cities in industrial development within the Bajio automotive corridor. Silao has around 147,00 residents. Its proximity to other cities and states gives you the facility to move quickly and visit cities such as Guanajuato, Leon, San Miguel de Allende, Dolores Hidalgo within the state.
