How can I apply for a position in Germany?

For an advertised position in Austria, please send your application via the MAHLE Recruiting-Portal eMploy. To do so, click on the link “Click here for applying online.” in the respective job vacancy in order to register at the portal.

Can I use my profile for several applications?

Yes you can. Please use the link “Click here for applying online.” in your job posting to register on the MAHLE Recruiting-Portal eMploy. For an additional application, all you need to do is update your information and write an appropriate cover letter for the new job vacancy.

Which browser do I need to be able to use the MAHLE Recruiting-Portal eMploy?

The supported standard browsers for accessing the MAHLE Recruiting-Portal eMploy are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox.

How can I apply for a position abroad?

All international job advertisements can be found under Jobs. Just choose the country that interests you. The job advertisement can be found in the information on the application.

If you can’t find a suitable job posting at present, we recommend subscribing to a job agent, who inform you regularly about suitable vacancies for you.

While registering at the MAHLE Recruiting-Portal eMploy, I received the message “Username/e-mail address is already in use.” What can I do?

You probably have already registered at the MAHLE Recruiting-Portal eMploy. Please check this first of all. If this is not the case and your username has already been assigned, please choose a different name. For your convenience, we suggest that you use your email address as your username.

Which documents should I have ready when I apply online?

Please have the following documents ready when applying: Cover letter, résumé, transcripts, other report cards as well as certificates, recommendations, and/or references relevant to the corresponding job posting.

What do I need to consider when uploading my documents?

Your uploaded documents should not exceed 10 MB at total. Please ensure that the files you upload are in one of the following formats: DOC, DOCX, JPG, JPEG, PDF, PPT, or PPTX.

When can the HR team review my application?

Our HR team can only see your application once you have completed and sent it.

Can I continue with my application later if I take a break from filling it out?

Yes you can. When you are filling out your application, your data is saved every time you move on to the next page. The next time you log in, you can complete or update your profile. Click here to complete your application now.

Can I complete or update my profile after I have sent the application?

Yes, you can also complete or update your profile at any time after you have sent your application. The only exception here is your cover letter; this cannot be changed later. Furthermore your contact person will not be informed about any changes you make to your profile.

How do I know that my application has been successfully received?

After we have successfully received your application, you will be sent a confirmation email. You application will be checked now by our personal department contact person.

How can I approve my profile for the applicant pool?

You can activate your profile for the applicant pool under the tab “Overview & approval”. At this point, we recommend you to check the box so that your profile can be considered for other job vacancies as well.

I have registered myself for the applicant pool but still have not heard anything. What might be the reason?

Our HR team only refers to this pool if we do not receive any suitable applications through the usual channels. We will only contact you if this is the case and your profile matches the criteria for the particular job posting. We therefore recommend being proactive and subscribing to one or more suitable job agents here.

How do I withdraw my application?

You can withdraw your application by marking it and clicking on the “Withdraw” button. If you have not yet sent off your application, you can just delete it.

What do the different application statuses mean?

“In draft form” means that your application is still incomplete and has not yet been sent. Once you send off your application, the contact person for the job vacancy will review your application and set the status to “in progress.” If you no longer want your application to be considered for the application process, please withdraw it.
