  • Purposes and legal bases of the processing of personal data

    • In the case of video surveillance of access to official business premises.

The legal basis for carrying out video surveillance is our legitimate interest in ensuring the security of people and property and in ensuring the control of entry to and exit from those premises. For this purpose, we process the following personal data: a recording of an individual (image), the location, the date and time of the recording and, in addition, the date and time of entry into and exit from the official premises, the personal name of the individual recorded, the address of his/her permanent or temporary residence, his/her employment, the number and type of his/her identity document and the reason for the entry.
    • Within the work premises.

The legal basis for carrying out video surveillance is our legitimate interest solely where it is strictly necessary for the safety of persons and property. In the vast majority of cases, cameras installed inside buildings are installed in such a way that they only monitor the operation of individual devices, while rarely capturing an individual's image. For this purpose, we process the following personal data: a snapshot of the individual (image), location data, date and time of the snapshot.

  • Users of personal data and further processing

Only explicitly authorised employees who are obliged to protect personal data on the basis of an employment contract and external contractors with whom we have concluded contracts for the processing of personal data have access to your personal data.

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except to the extent necessary to carry out any criminal or other official proceedings (in which case we share it with, for example, the police, other law enforcement authorities, our legal advisors and the courts).

  • Live monitoring and the possibility of audio intervention in the event of live monitoring

We only follow live events in certain locations, namely:

    - Vrtojbenska gatehouse - Šempeter pri Gorici
    - Softver room Komen - Komen
    - Bovec Gatehouse -Bovec

In this case, only persons who have been expressly authorised by us to do so have access to the live image.

  • Information on data transfer to third countries

Data is not transferred to third countries.

  • Retention period of personal data

We will not keep your personal data collected on the basis of video surveillance for more than 30 days. If we need the data for the purposes of criminal or other official proceedings, we will keep it for the duration of such proceedings.

  • Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to your personal data: - Right of access - means that you can ask us at any time whether we are processing any of your personal data and, if we are, you can obtain access to that data in the form of a copy and further information relating to it; - Right of rectification - means that you can ask us at any time to correct inaccurate or incomplete data; - the right to erasure - means that in the cases provided for in Article 17 of the GDPR, you may request that we erase your personal data, in which case, to the extent possible, we will also arrange for such data to be erased by other controllers to whom we have previously disclosed your data.

Please note that in the case of video surveillance, this is often not possible; - the right to restrict processing - this means that we may suspend the processing of your personal data for a certain period of time, for example in cases where the accuracy of your personal data is disputed, but we need some time to verify its (in)accuracy; - the right to object to processing - this means that where we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests, you may object to this processing and ask us to stop processing it; and
