Diversity @ MAHLE ERG: Bridging Cultures and Strengthening Unity
In May 2023 the Diversity @ MAHLE ERG (Employee Resource Group) initiative was founded in our Troy location in the United States. The team of six members comes from diverse countries, cultures, and beliefs, yet they all pursue the same goal: fostering diversity and inclusion within MAHLE. Their mission is to connect different cultures and strengthen unity across the organization.
Diversity @ MAHLE ERG actively promotes diversity through monthly newsletters and regular on-site and remote events, keeping colleagues informed, educated and engaged. Their Black History Month event in February this year was a remarkable success, attracting over 500 employees who participated actively and posed insightful questions. Some colleagues also shared their personal experiences as guest speakers, enriching the dialogue. The group is proud of the interest and commitment shown by their colleagues and grateful for the widespread support. Other events such as Celebrating Arab American Heritage Month, Women @ MAHLE also had great turn-out and colleagues participated in-person and online. Currently, Diversity @ MAHLE ERG is planning their next events, eager to continue making a significant impact and fostering a stronger, more inclusive workplace.
