Founded in 2022 by our Itajubá quality department in Brazil, Nós, which means "we" in Portuguese, is a vibrant initiative dedicated to fostering a more inclusive environment. Focused on five key areas—LGBTQIA+, racism, integration of people with disabilities, gender equality, and age discrimination—Nós has made remarkable strides in promoting diversity and inclusion.

In 2023, the Purchasing Department (Non-Productive Material & CAPEX) in Shanghai initiated the Co-Creation Session to inspire and support each other to work together more effectively. The session was created to address the challenges of team communication and skill development within a diverse team spread across different locations, each with unique expertise and experience.

In May 2023 the Diversity @ MAHLE ERG (Employee Resource Group) initiative was founded in our Troy location in the United States. This team comes from diverse countries, cultures, and beliefs, yet they all pursue the same goal: fostering diversity and inclusion within MAHLE. Their mission is to connect different cultures and strengthen unity across the organization.

The General Affairs department at our site in Šempeter, Slovenia, sets a great example of our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion and leads by example. Here a team, composed of individuals with different personalities, physical and intellectual abilities, each with their own set of physical capabilities, works together seamlessly.
