The General Affairs department at our site in Šempeter, Slovenia, sets a great example of our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion and leads by example. Here a team, composed of individuals with different personalities, physical and intellectual abilities, each with their own set of physical capabilities, works together seamlessly. They control vehicle movements, ensure compliance and facilitate communication between stakeholders. By contributing their individual strengths and skills, they improve safety and order on site.
Our business and society benefit from the diverse perspectives and capabilities that people with disabilities bring to the table. "Achieving more together means that all employees have the opportunity to succeed. An inclusive workplace is created when everyone feels they are appreciated, needed, and that they belong to the company. In my experience this promotes employee engagement, a common organizational and working culture, and a positive image and reputation of the company," says Matej, Head of the General Affairs Department in Šempeter.
MAHLE Slovenia is proud of the commitment of the team. We thank everyone involved for their support and look forward to making further progress in the area of diversity and inclusion.
